Oh my, but didn't we have FUN Saturday night!I have to say, Jenn and I throw a pretty darn good par-tay. Deb and Jeff (the singing couple on the couch) gave us a very generous gift of catering the event and there was everything from Jeff's Asian Dumplings to Deb's Three Tiers of Mini Dessert Delights. Jenn's Nick had sent us flowers so decor was taken care of. And we brought in a terrific musician for entertainment who gladly shared the stage with some of us.
So happy that everyone had a great time :) There was dancing later on (as you can see, it was a real kitchen party....there is Amy and I cutting a rug in the kitchen while a bemused Myleta and Arnie and Art look on)...
There was singing and wine...
There were photos with most of the guests (except with those of you who managed to slip away while I was occupied with dancing and/or singing..,)
And Jon put on an awesome show! Jenn did a CRAZYGOOD version of Hart's Crazy and who knew that a certain person on the block could play the drums?!All in all, it only ended because all of a sudden I looked around and I was the only one left! AT 5AM!
Thank you everyone for coming and for those who were not able to make it, we missed you!
PS-Jon is available for hire and he plays at the Port Pub on Friday nights if you want to catch his show!

You are the queen of great parties! I am still dreaming about the (grown-up) food and the fantastic (grown-up) music... It was the perfect (grown-up) outing!

It was quite a party! I am a little disappointed though...no picture of Amy's chocolate Blob or as Art called it the 'Bloaf'...not quite a (chocolate) Ball not quite a Loaf. We missed the memo that Taryn's talented catering friends were doing just that...catering and took along a not quite catering quality appetizer.LOL! Art said later at least we didn't show up with a couple of cans of Vienna sausages!
Thanks for the invite, Taryn. We will definitely be going to hear Jon play...loved listening to him and Troy.

It was a great party indeed!! It was so nice to meet Jenn and to be able to help you both celebrate your birthdays! Have fun in Mexico, Taryn...can't wait to see the pics when you get home!
