An Update for the Masses

What a ride life has been for the past couple of weeks! And the trend continues this week as things are crazybusy, but I thought I would share the events of The Most Wonderful Time of the Year.

Apple Blossom Weekend. For me, it is better than Christmas. Bermuda Jenn came on Thursday night and we did the customary stop at Rotten Ronnie's in Windsor on the way from the airport (PS-The Angus Burger is not what it is cracked up to be. Stay with the 1/4 pounder sans cheese). Then we came home and spent time together on the deck with our old friend Red Wine and his friend It's Only 11:30...Let's Have Another. Let's just say I was partly cloudy on Friday.

Friday we bummed around and got our Blossom toes done in the afternoon. Me, Bogota Blackberry. Jenn, Kennebunkport Red. Dinner at the Port on Friday night with Beth and Derren and eventually Nick (Jenn's man; my friend) who flew in that night.

Saturday it was off to Tim's after a minor plumbing issue in the bathroom shower that is going to cost me some $ and has resulted in a fancy vice grip for a hot water tap. As you can see, we began with mimosa. The frivolity continued until late in the evening when we decided to head home in the drizzle. Apparently, we raised the most $ ever at the Party for the Cure this year :)

And Sunday, after a delicious brunch at home, we went for a tour picking Tim up on the way and made it to Blomidon and Scot's Bay. After ice creams at the LookOff, we took the hound home and then went to Hall's Harbour for lobsta
and finished the day off at the movie theatre
watching the new Sar Trek flick (really, really enjoyed it...if you were a fan of the old Styrofoam rock Trek, you will love this movie for its injections of memorabilia).

Monday we went to Vicki's for clams and bits and then it was time to send my friends off on their motor tour of New Brunswick. And I had a meeting at work. Which I struggled to stay awake for. Dare I say I am getting too old for Blossom????

Gimme a Break!

Love the pics too. You know, you always have the best kind of "tired". You are really "living the life" out of life. Good for you. The only time you shouldn't be tired...is when your dead. ENJOY every moment!!

Hi Taryn,
Wow! and this ALL happened right here in the Valley?...sounds like an excerpt from 'The Life of the Rich and Famous'...LOL! I mean Mimosa's...really! I'm lucky if I get hot coffee in the AM...
Just having a bit of fun with you. I love how you live life in style and to the fullest and how you treasure and nurture your friendships.
