Crazybusy

Alas, it has been a crazybusy time since I got back from the Cross Canada Adventure. I haven't even got a pic to show you because other cameras were snapping at the time! Here is what has been happening:
  • I went back to work for one day and then spent the next two (plus the weekend) on the couch with a bad cold.
  • We had our annual Peep Retreat at Paulette's Cottage on Scot's Bay. Lovely, lovely, lovely! My Peeps are Delicious! We celebrated 5 years as a group and have the bling to prove it. We had custom necklaces made and they are beautiful. I play with mine now and again and think of all of them and the great times we have shared and those yet to come.
  • I started taking French lessons on Tuesday nights.
  • I started back to yoga on Wednesday nights with my friend Leslie.
  • I have a new job (!). No longer a Feed Specialist, I am now a Food Specialist. It means a move to the federal building in downtown Kentville and leaving the best office and working group ever, but it is a good opportunity that does not come along very often. Officially, I don't start until the last week of October to allow for transition for the person who will be the Feed Specialist. I am confidant leaving everything in his hands as we seem to have similar philosophies.
  • Bermuda Jenn came for a visit this past weekend and we had (as always) a smashing-great time. A bon-fire in the backyard with friends from the neighbourhood, a night out at the pub that ended with us dancing in the living room to 80's music by DJ Troy, Frenchies shopping, brunch, Sunday Dinner (roast beef...I still have timing issues with preparing a dinner...I should really stick to chili) with Troy and just hanging out with tea.
  • Dinner at the Maillet household: Evelyne had made a pot of her Famous Spaghetti Sauce. Delish!
Thanksgiving this weekend...I can hardly believe it. was gone in a poof. I hope October is slower...it is one of my favourite months. Apparently I am getting a pie pumpkin in my CSA share this week so I'll be experimenting.

I'm pretty darn thankful this year. I mean, how could I not be with all the stuff on the list above?!

Ton «post» m’indique que la prochaine visite va se passer en français, non? Laisse nous savoir comment ça va avec les classes. A bientôt…

On va te donner plein de pratique en français. On pourra faire une belle rencontre bien vite. Je t'adore mon amie.
