Here is my new favourite picture of the Hound. Evelyne, owner of a new camera extraordinaire, took it last weekend. I took Emily to gymnastics and Macy stayed to "play" with Ollie.
January seemed to pass very quickly and now February is upon us. It has been a quiet weekend and I managed to clean the house (including the floor-yay me!) and organized a bunch of photos in a new "system" courtesy of Photo Freedom (and Paulette-thank for the lend of the book!). I'm not going at it whole hog...just using some of the categories.
This week was a good one at work. I felt very engaged which hasn't been the case for a while. Yoga class was amazing on Wednesday. I managed to create something (which turned out AMAZING...Oh, but I love Maya Mist) for a friend to remind her of her One Little Word for 2009 and I popped it in the mail yesterday...almost 9 bucks to mail a piece of cardboard...but she is TOTALLY worth it and I hope it brightens her day when it makes its way to undisclosed location (tee hee hee...wonder who get a big surprise in her mailbox..oh, the suspense!).
Today I am taking Emily to gymnastics and then meeting Stephanie for coffee. A big walk for the Hound followed by a Big Nap and the creation of a scalloped potato/ham/sweet potato casserole. And hopefully Dog Class won't be cancelled FOR THE FOURTH TIME IN A ROW. No big events scheduled this week other than the usual-which is OK by me, 'cause I have A LOT of Bookclub homework to do!
Keep Warm, people....take a clue from Macy and find yourself a nice, cozy place to curl up under a blanket!

I sure hope February helps bring me out of hibernation. I really need something to jump start me. Reading your blog always perks me up though. Keep it up.
Aww...cute pick of Macy! I have to admit there were a few days in Jan that I felt like doing that same thing ALL day...I think we could learn alot from our dogs! ;o)
I'm almost done all my bookclub homework...been putting off my house work because of it, though! hehehe!

Taryn, your blog post is as refreshing as a good cup of coffee. I haven't even touched my homework...just enjoying the snow and snowmobiling. Can't wait to hear who will recieve the Taryn creation in their mailbox. Lucky person!
