Last week the Hound took center stage but this week the photo op goes to Zeut. Yes, he is being a very bad kitty sitting in the sun ON THE DINING ROOM TABLE, but he was so darn handsome I couldn't resist a shoot before the shoo.

Last week seemed to zoom by (which is never a bad thing in February...). Even the crap load of snow we got didn't bother me. There was a delayed opening of the office on Wednesday morning so the four-leggeds and I had a bit of a lie-in before the shovelling. A neighborhood hero snowblowed my little driveway TWICE (you know who you are) and Super Colby (of Colby Daniels Service Centre) kept the big driveway clear.

Last night I was invited to a four-course Italian meal prepared by my friend Craig. Antipasto to begin, a pasta course (a homemade pasta with two sauces: butter sage and Gorgonzola...ya better believe it I tried both!) followed by a stuffed pork with creamy parsnips, fennel braised in orange juice and asparagus. Dessert was a panecotta served with a marscapone cheese topping, raspberry sauce and fruit that had been marinated in amaretto. Delish. I got all dolled up and pulled out the Michael Kors. Amazing what dressing up can do for your psyche.

On slate for today: working on my Bookclub homework (part of it is done...the Melissa Kit part..but gotta do up my ATCs and my kit for Peep X), a walk, a nap, diving into a new book, laundry, splitting some kindling, making a pot of chili and going to dog class. Sweet Day.
