I am writing this from a hotel room in Truro before I get ready for another full day of training in a new inspection program. I am smiling. Really. Through gritted teeth, mind you, but still smiling.
OK, OK. Mom says she can't believe I am still not telling folks where I am going. I told my Book Club peeps on Sunday night so I can tell the rest of you...I'm off to Mexico on Easter Sunday! Yahoo! Pinch me, 'cause I still can't believe it!
Troy has asked me to be his date for his cousin's daughter's wedding in Playa del Carmen (just south of Cancun). Along with family members, we'll be staying at the Grand Riveria Princess all inclusive resort. Get this: I have even purchased a BIKINI for the trip! And then I went back to Swimwear hut and bought 2 more bottoms for 5$ each and another bikinitop for $14.99! Crazy. But heh-I found a dress to wear to the wedding for $3.75 at Frenchy's during the Shore Tour so I figure it all works out in the end. Easter Sunday is the day of departure (day after my 41st birthday) and I can't believe it is less than 3 weeks away :) And before that, Jenn is coming for a visit next weekend! Yahoo! And on the way to this boom town of Truro, I had an idea for a wedding gift so I had better get cracking on that. Paulette, I hope the Barn is open this weekend...
We hope to go to Mayan ruins and to maybe go fishing. I hope to eat chocolate and drink Margaritas and Mojitos. And maybe have a taco or six.
