Well, my less-than-subtle hint to Paul about the pics taken on the weekend worked, because he sent them yesterday! So here is a little PS about Shore Tour #1:
Check out Paul's Blog for an account of the lobster pound tour...its pretty funny and describes the tour really well. Did you know Lucien-Paul can store lobsters at his pound for 4 MONTHS? He puts them in special little tubes and then puts them in very cold water to hibernate (prevents molting). When he needs them, he warms up the water little by little to wake them up! I also learned how to pick out a good one:
a) Go to Clare-they have the best lobster in the world.
b) Squeeze the body (where my finger is in the pic). If it is squishy, that means the monster has just molted and there isn't as much meat to fill the shell.
c) Flip him over and look at the underside of the shell. If you see bubbles in there, again, he has just molted.
Damn it! I know I am forgetting something...Paul, what was the other thing???
Here I am picking a lobster to match my coat (the pic is nowhere close to the brilliant electric blue that was

Great pictures! However, know that your new boyfriend is not safe anywhere... imagine the amount of chowder one could make out of him!
