The window overlooks the parking lot at the back of the post office. There is a really nice tree that I will be able to watch change with the seasons.
I enjoy being downtown. I walked to work two days (and back. Twice. Had to walk back home at lunch to release the hound) and it is rather nice to be able to pop out for a coffee.
I am pretty sure I am going to enjoy the work as I am given license to actually use my brain and make decisions based on fact gathering. Sure to be maddening at times, but good none the less. Yes, I miss folks at the Station, but I have to say I am ready for this challenge as a Food Specialist (or, Food Safety Officer....both apply).

And the folks at the station (well this one anyway!) sure miss you. A lot!
I love how you embrace every new adventure with such a positive attitude. How can you not be successful in every thing you do with an attitude like that. Yeah for you Taryn.
How is the new Gabaldon? I am 55th on the list from the library. I may have to break down and buy it! MISS YOU!
Go get em!
