OK. Someone said something good would come of this crap and they were right. I have realized I have really, really, really great friends.
Thank you to all for your comments on my blog and for the emails that were in my inbox this morning. Thank you to Evelyne and Jane for conspiring together to put juice and milk in the fridge as well as fruit, bagels, crackers, cheese and wine. And some lovely flowers on the counter. And a nice note. Thank you to Jenn for holding my hand all the way from Windsor. She said, "you only have to do this once".
We met in TO and I have to say it was a tearful reunion. Must have made an impression, because the (male) flight attendant commented as we boarded, "Ah! Nice reunion!" and we didn't have any trouble convincing the fellow that was seated next to me to trade seats with Jenn.
The house was very dark. And empty. I went from room to room right away and ended up a puddle in Jenn's arms. He spirited things away like a ghost. Surreal. It's like there was never a Taryn and Troy. There was a part of me that thought maybe, just maybe, he couldn't go through with it. But he did, and he's gone. And so is the freakin' lawnmower.
So THANK YOU, GOD for friends....your secret agents.

It was so good to see you at the barn. It was nice to meet Jenn as well. I know this is a diificult time but you will make it through this.Take care of yourself and do what you need to do. I have been there Taryn...walking into every empty room and wondering where "we" went. Now it is just you...little ole strong minded,full of life ( and crap) you!!! If you can't change it, embrace it!!! You get the whole bed to yourself...you can watch whatever you want on TV...and the best part is, you can hire some sexy hot gardener boy to come mow your lawn!!! Now that is sweet justice!!!
