Back from a wonderful respite from winter. Tim and I narrowly got out of Toronto-first, we were the last on the plane because our Halifax flight was late due to de-icing and then we hear we were one of the last flights to leave before a storm shut down the entire eastern seaboard! Whew!Bermuda was blissful. Great friends, sunshine and good food-how could you go wrong? Add a convertible and invites to an exclusive party in there, and you have one great friggin' weekend.
The first pick is of the view from Jenn and Nick's patio. The second is of me and Jenn atop the Gibb's Hill lighthouse (very windy). The third is a pic of our very gracious, welcoming hosts at lunch after a boat ride from Dock Yard to St. George's (pulled up to the dock, walk up the steps and lo and behold, you are at Tavern by the Sea! Very mediteranean) and the final pic is of me and Tim soaked to the skin after the return boatride (wind changed direction-it was quite a rush...mind you, the water was warm compared to the Bay of Fundy).
