When Mike was here, there were a few things he wanted to eat: clams, mussels, scallops, a donair, poutine and lobster. We found utterly amazing clams at Vicki's in Coldbrook (who knew?), he had mussels and a beer at the airport before he left, he cooked scallops for our dinner Sunday night, had a donair at Pizza Delight in Digby, had poutine at Bud the Spud's in front of the Spring Garden Road library and Saturday night he got his lobster fix here!Macy was not impressed. Right after the above pic was taken, one of the insects moved and she ran away!

And one of him doing the eating (great technique, Brother!). I have to admit, they were not the best lobster around (have spent too much time in the tank at the Stupid Store-trust me, it was a last resort. Vicki's was sold out), but they filled the bill.
This is a great one of mother and son toasting the meal. We had a New Zealand Sauvingnon Blanc (Deb, thanks for the pairing suggestion. I had to get Monkey Bay because they don't sell the one you suggested anymore. Surprise, surprise) and it was a good pairing. We also had Cheater Ceasar salad and swiss cheese fondue and bread.A lovely meal and a memory rolled into one...my favourite pairing!

The donair thing is truely NS eh? but Pizza delight donairs aren't the real deal for me. Greco has a way better donair and donair oven sub!!! yummmy!

Hope you got my card, too. I realised today that I didn't put enough postage on it, as Royal mail have raised the price again this month.
